moths are great! (Julie Stoneman)

Use of records

Breadcrumbs

The National Moth Recording Scheme is collating moth records so that they can be put to a wide range of uses to benefit the conservation of moths and their habitats, as well as to provide feedback to moth recorders.

Moth records that you make belong to you. By passing them to your County Moth Recorder and on to the National Moth Recording Scheme, your records can be used in many positive ways, and so we encourage you to submit your records. In return, it is only right that you should be aware of how your records will be used by the National Moth Recording Scheme.

In conjunction with moth recorders and the National Biodiversity Network, we have developed a Data Policy that will cover all records submitted to the National Moth Recording Scheme. Please read the Data Policy so that you can make an informed choice about submitting your records to the National Moth Recording Scheme.
