Online recording

As part of the Moths Count project, online recording will be developed for the National Moth Recording Scheme. Such a system will encourage more moth recording, provide recorders with tools to manage and analyse their own records and reduce the burden of data input on County Moth Recorders. When the system has been developed and launched, it will appear on this page. This is scheduled for 2012.

Moth records entered online will be passed to the appropriate County Moth Recorders for verification and incorporation into local datasets. Only after this will the records become part of the National Moth Recording Scheme database.
