Almost all of the 1400 copies of the landmark Provisional Atlas of the UK's Larger Moths have now been sold. Get hold of one quickly before they sell out!

The Provisional Atlas of the UK's Larger Moths was published at the end of 2010 by the Moths Count project and has proved very popular.

It shows up-to-date distribution maps for all 868 naturally-occurring macro-moth species in the UK, Isle of Man and Channel Islands and is the first atlas to cover all the UK’s larger moths. The atlas is based on 11 million records contributed to the National Moth Recording Scheme. The publication is a major step forward in our knowledge of moth distributions and a ‘must have’ for anyone interested in moth recording or conservation.

Butterfly Conservation has fewer than 50 copies of the Provisional Atlas left in stock, and limited supplies are still available through specialist natural history retailers. The Provisional Atlas (455pp., softback) can be ordered for £20 (plus £5.00 P&P to UK addresses) online or by cheque to Butterfly Conservation, Manor Yard, East Lulworth, Dorset BH20 5QP.

DUE TO LOW STOCK LEVELS IT IS STRONGLY ADVISED TO PHONE BUTTERFLY CONSERVATION (01929 400209) TO CHECK AVAILABILITY BEFORE ORDERING.
